Jenzabar One (J1) is launching in November 2025, bringing an upgraded experience that will replace CX and modernize how our campus operates. This page will help you prepare, know what to expect during the transition, and understand the changes once J1 is live.

Key Dates and Deadlines Now 鈥� October 15, 2025
Stay Informed: Watch your email for important J1 updates.
Training: If your role requires J1 training, you will be contacted directly by the Project Team. Please prioritize these sessions, review the materials, and watch the training videos as they are shared. This preparation is critical for a smooth go-live.
Fiscal Processing:
Submit purchase orders, invoices, payments, journal entries, credit card transactions, and expense reports by Wednesday, October 15, to ensure processing in CX before the migration.
Budget transfers should be sent to the Finance Office at ??????
Transfers received after October 15 will be processed in J1. Items received after this date will be processed manually and may take longer to be handled.
October 15 鈥� November 10, 2025
CX entries will close at the end of the day on October 15.
Beginning October 16, manual processing will be implemented, which may result in delays for checks, purchase orders, invoices, expense reports, check requests, or wire transfers.
After November 10, 2025 鈥� J1 will be live, and normal processing will resume. 鈥� Please be patient鈥攑rocessing may be slower at first as staff become familiar with the new system. 鈥� Contact ???? with questions about the new my.sussex faculty features.
For Faculty
What to Expect
System Upgrade: Migration begins on October 15 and is expected to be completed by November 10, 2025. During this time, my.sussex and CX will be read-only, and some services will run slower due to manual processing.
Canvas: No changes. Canvas will continue to operate normally. However, during the migration, email communication with students through my.sussex will not be available; faculty should use Canvas for student communications.
A Fresh Look: my.sussex will have an updated design with familiar functionality.
J1 Web Portal: Faculty will access courses, enter grades, email rosters, and more through J1 Web, accessible via a new link on my.sussex.
Training & Support: Step-by-step login instructions and system guides will be shared before November 11. Additional training sessions will be offered for those who want extra help or hands-on support.
